I'm still trying to get the low down on the No Depression Party, the Twangfest Party, and the New West Records Party, all of which are usually very nice. Hopefully my painter friend Donald wont' be so hung over this year and can truly enjoy himself.

YES! This is where the smart people do SXSW the right way. Fuck all that bullshit about hoping you get into a packed club full of "industry fucks" with your pathetic wristband or badge. Gorilla usually hooks up the free "invitation only" parties during the day with good music and free fucking beer. So kiss my ass, all you jackasses who drop several hundreds of dollars to think you are looking cool by attending these lame 45 minute shows. Ok, so there are some gems among the heap of crap, but do you really want to mix in with that vapid crowd? Our crew feels otherwise. So let us know if you are interested in spending a cool, laid back Austin TX afternnoon with 2 of the coolest guys I know and lets thumb our noses at the industry while we enjoy their "freebies".
